Beware of Free Wi-Fi Connectivity is a simple, practical, and awareness-driven handbook written for everyday internet users. In a world where free Wi-Fi is available everywhere — airports, hotels, cafés, campuses, conferences, and public spaces — most people connect without thinking about the hidden risks. This book helps readers pause, reflect, and use public Wi-Fi more consciously.
Written in simple English and paragraph style, the book avoids technical jargon and fear-based messaging. It focuses on real-life situations, common habits, and small daily decisions that often lead to cyber exposure. The goal is not to turn readers into cyber experts, but to help non-technical users understand how risk enters ordinary digital life and how simple awareness can significantly reduce it.
The book covers topics such as:
-
Why free Wi-Fi feels safe but often is not
-

About the Author
The book is written by Peram Prasada Rao, Founder of TechnoBiz, a global knowledge and education platform. With over two decades of experience working closely with professionals, students, researchers, and business leaders worldwide, the author focuses on making complex topics practical and accessible.
He is not a cyber security expert and does not claim to be one. This handbook is based on conversations with professionals, insights from public literature, and real-life observations.
The author’s belief is simple:
You don’t need technical expertise to stay safe — you just need awareness.
This book is the first title in the Cyber Security E-Book Series by TechnoBiz, aimed at building practical digital awareness for everyday users.
